The Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah Aircraft Engine

The Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah was an air-cooled seven cylinder radial engine which went in to production during 1935 and remained in production until 1948 at which time 37,200 engines with fifteen versions had been produced, later engines were available with Superchargers and output reduction gear. The Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah proved to be very reliable in service and was the first engine of it's type to be officially certified for 1,200 hours operation between overhauls.
