de Havilland DH 89 Dominie Military Trainer

The de Havilland DH 89 Dragon Rapide was a successful British short-haul passenger biplane of the 1930s, when WW2 broke out in 1939 most Dragon Rapides were seconded in to service by the RAF and re-named the de Havilland Dominie, all new aircraft produced were supplied directly to the RAF, they were primerily used for passenger transport duties and radio navigation training for bomber crews. A total of 731 Rapides / Dominies were produced.
